chocolate peanut butter fudge.... mmmmm...

ok... last weekend i went down to Destin, FL and came across this little shop in Baytowne called The Candymaker. It was there that i was introduced to something magical......... Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. I mean, magical. And since i cant seem to find fudge in Birmingham, i guess i am going to have to resort to making it myself!

This is where i need YOUR help...... does anyone have any secret Chocolate, Peanut Butter, or Chocolate Peanut Butter fudge recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation in your family??? or just a good one that you have found? If so, please, drop me a line in the comment box with the recipe!

THANK YOU!!!! :)

  1. PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

    What you'll need . . .

    1/2 cup butter
    2-1/4 cups brown sugar
    1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter (smooth . . . but I bet crunchy is also good!)
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3-1/2 cups powdered sugar

    Method . . .

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar and milk -- and bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla
Pour over confectioners' sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth; pour into an 9x13 inch dish.
Chill until firm and cut into squares.
